About the Instructor

Angela Wolf

President & Founder of Angela Wolf Academy

Angela Wolf fashion designer and entrepreneur, is the anchor of the PBS series It’s Sew Easy and host of a live facebook show's Behind the Scenes and At Your Side Virtually. Author of How to Start a Home-based Fashion Design Business, founder of Angela Wolf Patterns, and Producer of Fabric to Fashion Reality Show. Angela teaches online sewing classes on Patternreview, Craftsy, and Angela Wolf Academy. Angela started sewing at a young age and continued to design women’s apparel all thru college. With an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for fashion and sewing, she launched and ran a successful custom apparel and alteration business for over 18 years. She has since launched a pattern collection Angela Wolf Pattern Collection for the home sewer. Angela is the winner of 2008 Passion for Fashion, 2012 American Sewing Expo’s teacher of year, and spends her time speaking and teaching all over the country. When she is not sewing, you will find her fishing on Lake Michigan or in the Florida Keys with her husband Winn, on the Win-n-Angel!

I’m not a beginner but got a lot of tips and tricks out of this course....it sure makes my life easier. There’s something for everybody.....i can now cut the right way, sew with no pins, handle slippery and curly light weight knits etc etc.....i just loved this course!!! I especially apriciate the fact that there are no brand specific stiches and stuff so you can just use any machine you have. I recommend this fantastic course for anyone who want to tackle knits! Thanks Angela for putting in so much time and effort into these videos!

Great techniques! Easy to follow along!

I had not sewn with knits in decades because they never turned out right....too tight, too loose, too not-so-good! Angela is a gifted instructor, presenting valuable easy to follow information in a sequential format which enables the viewer to follow along as she sews....to have a completed garment in absolutely no time at all! A common sense approach to sewing with attention to detail like no other!! I have referred back to this class often for refresher. I recommend this class to anyone and everyone who sews with knits....or wants to sew with knits! Worth every penny....and then some!!
